The Custom Point Tool is a unique plugin that expands the features of planswift's default point count tool.   Using the Custom Point Tool, will allow users to create varied sizes and shapes of different count items.

Using the custom point count tool is very simple:

Step 1:

Click on the "Home" Tab and Select "Shape Count Tool"

Step 2:

In the "Custom Digitizer Types" Dialog box, type in the Name, Description and Item Number of the item you will be taking off.

Step 3:

Select a Shape From the drop down box.  By Selecting hollow The shape will not be filled with any color.

Step 4:

Moving the slider just below the image will adjust the size of the count item. moving it to the right wil increase the size of the point count item, Moving it to the left will decrease.

Step 5:

Type in or Select the name of the Tab  and folder you would like to store the count item under planswifts estimating Tab. If the folder or tab does not exists.  The Custom Point Count tool will create them automatically.

Step 6:

Press OK and start digitizing;
